I used to do greetings cards y’know, back in the days before i had photoshop, and i used to handpaint every one of the buggers. literally back-breaking work as i did it standing up for some reason, so all that time hunched over a desk has given me the lumpy back i have now. mmm.
anyway i really loved doing cards, and though i doubt they’re still in circulation anymore they were a great place to hone my painting. looking back at it now i’m amazed how much detail and time i put in, but at the time i think the colours weren’t right for what they wanted so the designs ended up being changed anyway.
